Little Classic

The Little Classic program offers a variety of fun challenges and activities that help children discover the world of cycling in an engaging way. It provides the perfect family-friendly side program at our events.

Each completed challenge earns one stamp on the participant’s card. Once the card is fully stamped, young riders receive the official title of Little Classic.

The Three Pillars of the Little Classic

The Little Classic program is built on these pillars: Theorist, Rider, Fan.

Theorist
Children earn the Theorist stamp by visiting the Direct pojišťovna zone, where they can take part in a workshop and complete follow-up tasks that test the knowledge they have gained.

Rider
To earn the Rider stamp, children must complete a cycling activity. The activity varies depending on the participant’s age and type of bicycle. It may be either a short ride in the event area for younger children or a family cycling ride.

• Skills Ride (up to 200 m) in the event area for children up to 5 years old: participants ride a balance bike or a bicycle without gears.
• Family Ride (3–5 km) for children accompanied by their parents: participants ride a geared bicycle alongside a parent or are transported by a parent in a child seat or trailer.

Fan
To receive the final stamp, children must show their support as true cycling fans. In the Direct pojišťovna creative zone, they can make items such as banners and signs to cheer on their parents and other riders.

How to Register

If you would like your child to take part in the Little Classic program, you can register them free of charge through the SportID registration system. Simply select the specific monument event, just as you would for the main race, and then choose either the skills ride or the family ride.

Please note that a separate SportID account must be created for each child.

The children's program will be available at Pálava, Vysočina, and Ještěd.
